Corporate Travel Buyer Resources (CTBR) is pursuing industry professionals who are interested in working as an Independent Travel Consultant Representative (ITCR) under the CTBR network. As an ITCR you will work as an independent contractor building your own consultant practice, while enjoying the support of a proven system and entity. This opportunity is ideal for industry professionals interested in making the transition to consulting and for current industry consultants looking for new professional challenges and earning opportunities.

Overview of Network Services: As an ITCR you will receive initial training and support to help jump start your practice. Once up and running you will receive ongoing sales and project support, including access to a large database of proposals, service agreements, project checklists and other consulting forms and templates to help you successfully complete any client project.

ITCR Qualifications: Candidate should possess two or more of the following qualifications;

Minimum five years experience at a Regional, National or Global TMC, working in two or more of the following roles;
- Sales
- Account Management
- Consulting
- IT/Operations
Minimum three years experience working as a corporate travel manager/buyer at a national or multinational corporation and responsible for two or more of the following areas;
- Travel policy development and administration
- TMC negotiations or management of the CTD
- Airline, hotel, and car rental spend management and supplier negotiations
- T&E expense management (Corporate Card and T&E expense tool)
- Groups and Meeting
Minimum three years experience working for any other travel supplier/vendor (e.g., airline, hotel, ground transportation, technology, corporate card or other travel provider) in a sales, operation, project management or client support role.
Minimum one year prior experience consulting to corporation(s) on managing corporate travel programs and T&E expenses.

Please note: a combination of seven years accrued industry experience in any capacity or a strong business aptitude in a specific area (e.g., Meetings, T&E expense management, international travel programs, etc.) will also be considered, in lieu of satisfying the above qualifications.

Qualified candidates should also possess the following skills:

Consultative writing and presentation skills
New business development skills
Strong analytical skills
Project management and organization skills
